Thanks for stopping by my blog, I’m guessing you’ve arrived at this page because either you have some interest in living abroad or making money online or even both and you’re fed up with living the rat race in your country of origin.

First off before you read any further I am not going to make any claims that you are going to make thousand of dollars if you listen to my advice. I also am not going to be showing my earnings on this blog, not even my wife see’s what I earn from month to month so I’m certainly not going to be showing it to a bunch of strangers…though I hope we don’t remain strangers for long.

You can read my full story by clicking on the About Me tab on the menu bar, but in case you can’t be bothered here’s the Cliff Notes version. My name is Steve, an Englishman and Londoner. I’ve worked dozens of soul destroying jobs with brief escapes to travel the world but the money would always run out and once again I’d find myself being another Eddie punch-clock. [to quote Mr Burns of the Simpsons who I also borrowed the Wage Donkey moniker from]

In the beginning of 2011 I typed ‘make money online’ or something along those lines into the Google search engine and now two years later I am living Full Time in Northern Thailand as a Internet Marketer.

Looking at the paragraph above I realize I’ve made it look like an easy process; start Internet Marketing work at it for a year or two, give up your job and live in tropical paradise but this is very far from the truth.

What it involved were late nights, very little social life, thousands spent and a lot of frustration to finally reach my goal.

So what I hope to share with you here is some of the mistakes I made as well as the good decisions of course! I’ll be telling you all about life in Thailand the good and the bad, there’s no such place as paradise in my opinion.

I will be regularly updating the site with all that I’m doing in 2013 and answering any questions you have to my best abilities.

I’m certainly not an Internet Marketing guru and because living costs are relatively low in the North of Thailand I can get by on a modest income, so if you came here hoping to find out the secret to earning a millionaire income sorry matey you’ve come to the wrong place.

Everyday there are dozens of WSO’s released on the Warrior Forum, some from established marketers and many from unknowns, I’ve purchased my fair share of both and sometimes there is little difference from the $7 product from some guy you’ve never heard of and the $47 from one of the so called Guru’s.

Anyway to cut a long story short I came across this WSO just by chance and took the risk with my hard earned $7 and purchased it and not expecting anything much I ended up reading it in two sessions and seeing as this PDF is 215 pages of pretty much all text this is some going!

So I decided to do something I haven’t done before and that is review a WSO.

As I mentioned previously this is a 215 page PDF  from a seasoned affiliate marketer named Darren Bracey, I’d never heard of the guy before but he obviously knows how to write as his easy going friendly style made it a breeze for me to read in two sittings. It’s not a dry step by step manual,Daz [as I believe he likes to be called] injects some character into the book and explains his system pretty well seeing as there are no screen shots or  diagrams just plain text. I last updated this blog with a couple of posts about Squidoo but because of the big changes over there I decided to delete them as they were no longer relevant.

Well I hope your year has been a good one so far…me I can’t complain, I celebrated the Thai New Year Celebrations with my wife and kids in April, the first time that I’ve been in Chiang Mai at that time of year for a long while. The Thai’s celebrate their new year by having one of the biggest water fights on the planet!! It’s a great time to be in Chiang Mai as it is celebrated here with even more gusto than in other parts of Thailand.

The kids summer holidays are also around this time so I also got to spend a lot more time with them than I used to when I had to go back to the UK to work at this time of year. If you’ve visited my site before you might have noticed that I had a few posts on tips for your Squidoo Lenses, unfortunately things have changed over at Squidoo and I have deleted those posts.

Squidoo was a small part of my affiliate strategy but the knee jerk changes that have been occurring over there for the last few months finally came to a head for me when they locked my top earning lens that was making me close on $200 a month with no clear reason why.  I was inspired to write this post today after reading and participating in a discussion on the Warrior Forum you can read it here Why You Need To Be in South East Asia while the op’s post was more concerned with how you can leverage your earnings by living in a country with a cheaper cost of living, some of the Warriors (LOL) who replied commented on the risks involved; what if your business didn’t make any money? What If you get sick? what if your parents get sick while you are away? and so on.

The thing is as that great quote from the Philosopher Michel de Montaigne stresses most of these worries never materialize and you’ve put yourself in a negative mental state for no reason. This doesn’t just apply to living abroad it impacts other aspects of your life if you live a life of yes I’d like to do that but what if….happened? you are going to live your life in a rut. So far the posts that I have written have concentrated on  lifestyle and mind set but today we’re going to delve into the nitty gritty of Internet Marketing and discuss Niche Marketing. Hopefully it will help you come up with some ideas to decide on an area for you to focus on.

I have various Income streams that combined mean I can live in Thailand as a full time Internet Marketer, Niche Websites promoting affiliate products make up a good part of my income.

Amazon sales make up most of my affiliate income but I also make a few sales through Clickbank, I plan on trying out some other affiliate programs this year and will let you know what sort of results I am getting.

Cliched Picture of a watch and some money to make the point that time means money!

I don’t like to admit it but when I had a day job a lot of effort went on killing time, clock watching or just counting down the hours to lunchtime or the end of the day.

Now I am working for my self and a lack of productivity means the difference between making a living or being out on the street I take my time a whole lot more serious! 

I also realize if I’d worked on ways to boost my productivity before I gave up the day job I might have achieved my goal of working for myself a whole lot quicker.

Hi and welcome to this blog post where I thought I’d address the issue of Internet Marketing and keeping yourself in shape, something all us guys and gals working at desks should be doing.

I used to keep myself in OK shape but once I became a father and worked a job that was sitting at a computer for around a third of the day, I soon started noticing how out of shape I’ve got. That might look like Jabba the Hut on the left but really that’s me showing my good profile!
